NOTICE TO LEGAL PRACTITIONERS, POLICE, CORRECTIONS and COURT USERS REGARDING DIRECTIONS HEARING LIST AT THE DARWIN LOCAL COURT WILL BE ROSTERED ON MONDAYS ONLY FROM 9 MAY 2022
The Directions Hearing List has been rostered every Monday and Friday at the Darwin Local Court, Nichols Place. From week commencing 9 May 2022, the Directions Hearing List will only be heard every
Monday.
The list will commence at 10am for custody matters and 2.00pm for non-custody matters. List numbers will be capped.
The last Friday sittings for the Directions Hearing List will be on Friday, 6 May 2022. Matters currently listed in the list after Friday, 6 May 2022 will be moved to the Directions Hearing List on a Monday.
Directions Hearings forms (s60AJ matters) should be signed by both Counsel and filed in advance of the Direction Hearing date if possible.
This notice applies only to the Darwin Local Court.
