Tennant Creek bushfire update

It will be business as usual at the Tennant Creek Local Court, after the bushfire situation near the town eased.

Court officials who have been monitoring the situation have said that for the time being it seems that the danger to Tennant Creek has passed.

Defendants, lawyers and other court users should proceed as usual to the court, with current sittings to be completed by audio-visual link (AVL) to Alice Springs.

The Court will next be sitting in Tennant Creek from October 9-13.
