NOTICE TO LEGAL PRACTITIONERS, POLICE, CORRECTIONS, TERRITORY FAMILIES and COURT USERS REGARDING THE DARWIN CHILDREN'S COURT.
The TCG Court facility will be closed until Friday 4 February 2022. The sittings for the Darwin Children’s Court at TCG on 1 and 2 February 2022 are cancelled.
- All custody matters listed on 1 and 2 February are adjourned to Friday, 4 February 2022.
- All non-custody matters listed on 1, 2 and 4 February are adjourned to Friday, 11 February 2022.
- Youth in custody for new matters or breach of bail on 2 and 3 February will be heard via video from Don Dale to Nichols Place.
The Family Matters list on Thursday, 3 February 2022 will be via MS TEAMS only from Nichols Place. Legal practitioners and parents may attend by video or telephone.
Leave is granted for appearances via MS Teams or telephone. If you require virtual appearance via MS Teams or telephone, complete the notification of virtual appearance to ensure the Court has the relevant information. If Teams can be facilitated a link will be sent as per the procedure outlined in the virtual appearance guide.
Bail will be continued to any adjournment date on the same terms and conditions.
